This event has been postponed

The time has come when we can set about checking the batboxes in the Thames Chase Community Forest to see how our bats are faring.

The dates proposed to meet up are:

Saturday 23rd October at Broadfields Farm meet at 9.30am
Sunday 24th October at Bonnetts Wood Park Car park off Park Farm Road at 9.30am

The bat box checks include: vegetation clearing, ladder handling, messy box cleaning and, surprise surprise, a bat to handle gently – species, sex, weight, arm length.
